Pan-fry it alongside some white onions and serve it with sauerkraut or cooked potatoes. They can be served with applesauce, horseradish, pan-fried potatoes, sautéed onions, or green cabbage. The sausages also work well with ground white rice (sometimes used instead of bread) to add flavour. 
In some cases, breadcrumbs might also be added for additional texture.
