Who is Eugene Blond?

In 1894, Eugene Blond developed a wafer recipe, sold as Blondinette. His son Pierre succeeded him and added to the wafers boards fantasy sentences, creating the amusing wafer.

Today, the tradition is perpetuated: the wafers are manufactured according to the original recipe in Eugene Blond Lambersart workshop, in the North of France.
